The life of Antti Pasanen, a journalist, is in order. His wife is just about to give birth. Until, in front of the Maternity Hospital, everything changes. With a sniveling bundle in his arms, Antti sees the tail lights of a taxi fading away, with his wife Pia in the backseat and their future as a family in jeopardy. The life in terms of the baby begins and little does Antti know what it demands from him…
Director’s Statement: As a director, I want to approach parenting clichés, expectations and delights from the comical angle, through the light and airy film scenes. A strong goal is that the viewer of Man and a Baby will be able to participate in this father’s moments of joy, horror and despair, and also share his love.
